The Chronicles Of Narnia
On November 29th in 1898 the author, English scholar and defender of Christianity C. S. Lewis was born in Belfast. He taught at both Oxford and Cambridge in England and is famous for writing The Chronicles Of Narnia.
Lewis sufferred terrible criticism from his friends when he married an American poet so that she could remain in England to persue her literary career. This Autumn we’ll be broadcasting readings from his Narnia books as well as
Shadowlands, a book based on a play about the true story of
the author.
